About the material
Why a ratio, not a percentage.
A 10:1 extract means ten kilograms of dried rhizome went into one kilogram of finished powder. Nothing is isolated and nothing is discarded — the curcuminoids come along with the turmerones, polysaccharides and the rest of the matrix. Buyers choose it for two reasons: a formulation positioned on whole-plant tradition rather than an isolated active, and a label that can honestly say turmeric extract rather than curcumin.
The trade-off is honesty about the number. A genuine 10:1 turmeric extract lands somewhere around 5 to 10% curcuminoids depending on the crop, and any supplier quoting a 10:1 at 40% is either isolating and adding back, or telling you a story. We report the actual curcuminoid assay on the certificate alongside the ratio, so your dose calculation is built on a measured figure rather than an implied one.

Which should I buy, 10:1 or curcumin 95%?
If your product is dosed on a stated milligram of curcuminoids, buy the 95%. If it is positioned on whole-plant turmeric, sold on tradition, or needs to declare turmeric extract rather than curcumin, buy the 10:1. If you are unsure, send us the draft label and the dose and we will tell you which one your claim actually needs.
Can you supply turmeric with a guaranteed curcuminoid minimum?
Yes. We can hold a 10:1 to a stated floor — typically not below 5% — and the certificate will carry the measured figure for the batch you receive rather than a range copied from a brochure.
Do you supply culinary turmeric powder as well?
Yes, milled rhizome to order, tested for the things that actually matter in the spice trade: lead chromate adulteration, moisture, ash and microbiology. It is a different product from the extract and quoted separately.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Twenty-five kilograms per specification, which is one standard fibre drum. Mixed consignments across two or more extracts are accepted on a first order so you can qualify several actives at once without committing to a full drum of each.
What documentation ships with the goods?
Certificate of Analysis for the specific batch, a heavy-metals and microbiology report, a pesticide-residue screen, and the commercial set: packing list, commercial invoice and certificate of origin. Allergen, GMO, vegan, halal and BSE/TSE statements are issued on request.
How long does delivery take?
One to two weeks from order confirmation to a UK address for material already in a finished, tested lot. Bespoke specifications that require a fresh production run take longer, and we tell you the honest date at the quotation stage rather than after you have committed.
