Moringa oleifera leaf powder

Botanical Extracts — Moringa oleifera

Moringa leaf

Shade-dried leaf, milled fine and screened, plus a 10:1 concentrated extract. Sold on nutrient density rather than a single marker compound.

About the material

Drying is the whole game.

Moringa is one of the few botanicals where the processing matters more than the origin. The leaf is nutrient dense but fragile, and heat destroys most of what buyers want. Sun-dried leaf on a concrete yard is cheap, arrives a dull khaki, and carries a microbiological load that will fail a supplement specification. Shade-dried leaf in a controlled airflow keeps its colour, keeps far more of its content, and costs meaningfully more per kilogram.

You can see the difference before you open a certificate: good moringa is a deep green, smells green and slightly grassy, and does not taste of hay. We buy shade-dried leaf, and this is a product where a visual and sensory check tells an experienced buyer most of what the paperwork will later confirm. Steam sterilisation is available where your specification requires a validated microbiological reduction.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask

Is your moringa sun-dried or shade-dried?

Shade-dried. Sun-dried leaf is cheaper and widely offered, but it loses colour and content and typically arrives with a microbiological load that a supplement specification will reject. If you are being quoted a moringa price that seems unusually low, drying method is almost always the reason.

Can you supply moringa that meets a tight microbiology limit?

Yes, through steam sterilisation, which is validated and reported on the certificate. It is worth agreeing your total plate count and Enterobacteriaceae limits before we quote, because the sterilisation step changes the price and the lead time.

Is it organic?

Certified organic moringa is available to order against a valid, unbroken certificate. Our standard offer is conventional shade-dried leaf, which is what most UK greens-blend buyers actually purchase.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Twenty-five kilograms per specification, which is one standard fibre drum. Mixed consignments across two or more extracts are accepted on a first order so you can qualify several actives at once without committing to a full drum of each.

What documentation ships with the goods?

Certificate of Analysis for the specific batch, a heavy-metals and microbiology report, a pesticide-residue screen, and the commercial set: packing list, commercial invoice and certificate of origin. Allergen, GMO, vegan, halal and BSE/TSE statements are issued on request.

How long does delivery take?

One to two weeks from order confirmation to a UK address for material already in a finished, tested lot. Bespoke specifications that require a fresh production run take longer, and we tell you the honest date at the quotation stage rather than after you have committed.

Who is the importer of record?

Aarleez Ltd. We handle customs clearance and GB import controls, and we quote delivered duty paid to your address so the price you accept is the price you pay. Ex-warehouse collection is available if you would rather run your own leg.

Next step

Ask for a moringa quotation.

Colour and smell tell you most of it. We will send the certificate of the actual lot with a delivered price so you can judge before you commit.
