Who we supply — 02
For contract manufacturers
Your client’s auditor will not care who your supplier is until something goes wrong. Consistent specifications, lot-tied certificates, supplier questionnaires completed in your format, and an importer of record who is never the weak link: that is what we are for.
The problem
Variance is what actually costs money.
A contract manufacturer does not lose money because an ingredient was three percent more expensive. It loses money when an incoming batch fails goods-in, when an assay drifts far enough to move a finished product out of tolerance, or when a client's auditor asks for a document that the supplier cannot produce. Every one of those is a supply-chain visibility problem rather than a price problem.
We buy direct at origin, which means the specification is agreed with the producer rather than inherited from a trader's stock sheet. Material is tested before it ships, the Certificate of Analysis is tied to the specific lot, and we hold retained samples. When your goods-in team queries something, there is an actual chain to walk back rather than three intermediaries who each need a week.

Documentation
What arrives with every consignment.
The standard set ships automatically. The rest is issued on request and we do not treat asking as an imposition.

Working together
What we will and will not do.
We will hold a specification in writing
Agreed before the first order and applied to every subsequent one. If a crop makes a specification harder to hold, you hear it from us before the material ships, not when it fails your goods-in.
We will complete your approval process properly
Supplier questionnaires, quality agreements, self-audit documentation. It is slow and it is nobody's favourite afternoon, but a contract manufacturer that cannot evidence its ingredient chain has a serious problem, and we would rather do the paperwork than be the weak link in it.
We will tell you when a lot has drifted
Botanicals are agricultural and they vary. A supplier who claims their material never moves is either not testing it or not telling you. Where a lot sits differently within specification, we say so, because you may need to adjust and you would rather know in advance.
We will not sell you something we cannot repeat
The most damaging thing an ingredient supplier can do is win a first order with an exceptional lot and then supply the ordinary one. If a specification is available as a one-off rather than as a running line, we tell you that at quotation, even when it costs us the order.
Consistency
Same origin, same producer, same agreed specification. Retained samples held against every lot so a later question has something to test.
Traceability
One importer between the field and your goods-in. We can tell you where a lot came from and when, because we bought it.
Scheduling
Call-off against an agreed volume so you are not holding the working capital, with the honest lead time rather than the optimistic one.
When the auditor arrives, the question is never whether you have a certificate. It is whether the certificate belongs to the batch. Ours always does.
How an order runs
From your specification to your loading bay.
Six steps, most of them ours. You send a specification; we come back with a certificate and a delivered price, and the goods arrive tested, cleared and documented.
The active, the percentage, the form and the volume. Or the certificate you buy against today, supplier name redacted.
A recent batch certificate for the line and a delivered duty paid price in sterling.
Specification, packing and delivery address agreed in writing.
Assay, heavy metals, microbiology, pesticide residue and residual solvent. Material that will not pass does not ship.
Customs entry, duty and GB import controls handled by Aarleez Ltd as importer of record.
Delivered with the full document pack. Batch codes trace back to the source lot.
FAQ
Questions buyers ask
Can we set up a call-off arrangement?
Yes. Agree an annual or half-yearly volume and draw against it as your production schedule requires. It protects your price against crop movement and keeps the working capital off your balance sheet rather than ours.
Will you complete our supplier questionnaire?
Yes, in your format, properly. We would rather spend the time on your approval process than be the supplier that cannot evidence its own chain when your client's auditor turns up.
What lead time should we plan on?
One to two weeks from order confirmation to a UK address on running specifications. Bespoke specifications that need a fresh production run take longer and we quote the real date, not the one you would prefer to hear.
Are you the importer of record?
Yes. Aarleez Ltd clears the goods and quotes delivered duty paid to your site, so the customs and import-control exposure sits with us rather than appearing on your desk as a surprise.
